Too Much Fashions' CEO, President and Founder, Ms. Danas Scroggins began modeling when she was only 12 years old.

 

"I remember at almost all of my fashion shows, the Event Coordinators would shout, 'Give it to Danas, she can fit anything!''', Ms. Scroggins explained.

 

"As a young lady, I was only a size 2-4 and remember the difficulty of shopping for clothes at a special store for smaller-sized women in Weberstown Mall", Scroggins added.

 

"In high school, I was constantly teased and called 'Olive Oyl'," Ms. Scroggins said, laughing. "Tall and thin was just not in!", Ms. Scroggins bemoaned.

 

"One day, my agency summoned me and my mother into their office." "It was quite some time ago - I was very young at the time, so all I remember is me and my mother sitting in an executive style office at a big, imposing executive desk, with a very demanding lady with a big black book on her desk." " I remember her laying her right hand on this book like it was a Bible, only it was bigger!" "She then said the words that I would never forget; "You're going to be the next Naomi Campbell." "I was soooo very happy! I remember seeing tears of joy in my mother's eyes." "The agency booked a flight for me and my mother to New York City." "We were rejoicing!!!"

 

But the story took a surprising detour.

 

"My personal journey to the top of the modeling world was sidetracked by an unplanned and unexpected pregnancy", recounted Ms. Scroggins. Instead of becoming a 'supermodel', I became a 'super mom.''' "Today, I have a handsome teenage son who's almost taller than me", Ms. Scroggins says proudly. " He's the center of my world and I love him very much!" Ms. Scroggins says with a big smile on her face. "I have no regrets", she adds.

 

However, her personal history, and witnessing the high percentage of unplanned pregnancies among young women in her community, motivated Ms. Scroggins to utilize her love of fashion and modeling into a positive experience for other young ladies. The result is a unique environment for young women embarking on a modeling or entertainment career.
